Journal #11 Self Evaluation

I'm trying many ways to increase my English skill. I'm always watching American drama for increase my speaking and listening. Sometimes I can't understand what they say. So, I listen carefully and find out what I didn't catch. It's words problem. I'm listen carefully and write down it and find out what that word mean. That's my first way to study English. Second, I'm usually write a novel. I'm trying transfer it from Korean to English. But it's very hard work to transfer. Third, I'm watching only English books. It helps me how to write sentences, and I can study many words. I think all of them are good way to study English, and I'm improved by using those ways.

Journal #10 My Free Time(Free Writing)

I don't know what should I do on my free time. Of course, I don't want to study. I need a rest, and I need to do interesting things. Sometimes I'm thinking about my novel and write that ,or I'm drawing. But when I don't want neither of those, I don't know how to spend my golden time. I'm spending with boredom. I think I'm wasting my time. I should go to find some interesting things.

Journal #9 My Favorite Ride

I went Disneyland about five times. Of course, I rode many rides. If I choose the best ride, that is space mountain. If I want to take that, I have to wait more than 45 minutes. That means it's very interesting. It's a rollercoaster. Usually, rollercoasters are at outside, but it is inside of building. When I go with my mates to tunnel, I can't see anything. I can see light, but that's useless. Because it moves so quik! It's very exciting ride. It moves up and down, moves right and left. Something like stars are passing from the front to behind. I can't imagin that how fast it is. Because it's so dark. But I love to ride that.

Journal #8 Olympic Park

My hometown is Oryun Dong, SongPaGu, Seoul. I lived in Olympic apartment. My family still lives in there, but now I live in America. In front of Olympic apartment, there is Olympic Park which is very famous park. When I lived in there, I usually went there. I think it's very big park. Because of it is Olympic Park, there are many stadiums. Most of them are gray buildings. Sometimes singer have a concert in stadiums. When they have a concert, their many fans come to there, and very crowd. Many people come there everyday. There are many green trees and beautiful flowers. People are doing exercise everyday. Women and men are running around park, boys are playing basketball. And I heard that it's a sand castle. In side of park, it looks like a small mountain. People are running on there. Maybe they looks like busy soldiers. Olympic park is very huge, beautiful, and historical place.

Journal #7 My Memory

When I was in China, our school had a fall event. Korean also had to do something. So my friends prepared sing and dance. It was successful performance. At first, one of Koreans danced. His dancing was perfect. Atmosphere is going up. We were excited about that. Next, one of my friends sang a song. He sang very well. He sang like a singer. Finally, three pretty girls danced. They were sexy. They made us crazy. We shouted and screamed. It was our night.

Journal #6 The 2002 World Cup

I still can’t forget that memory of 2002 Korea and Japan World Cup. The World Cup is the biggest event in the world. At that time, I didn’t expect that they did very well. But we won many strong teams in the 2002 World Cup. I thought that we will be left out very early when we were in the same group with Portugal, Poland and America. I watched those games, because of I like soccer. But miracle happened. We won Portugal and Poland and tied with America. We were on the first rank of group. We met Italy at the next match. We know that Italy is very strong team. And they are very violent. I didn’t watch that game. I regret about that. Because we won that game dramatically. Every Korean was excited about that. I don’t want to regret again, so I watched next game which match with Spain. It was very long game. We had penalty kick after 120 minutes. And we won again. There were only four teams left. Next match, we met German which has the greatest goalkeeper in the 2002 World Cup. His name is Kahn. He was crazy about block goals. Of course, he blocked all of our shootings, and we lost that game. But it was okay.Because we won many big teams. I still can’t forget the miracle of the 2002 World Cup.

Journal #5 My Own Fairytale

Once upon a time, there were three friends lived together. They cooked one by one. When friend A cooked, he always shared equally. When friend B cooked, he gave them more and he ate less. And when friend C cooked, he always ate more than others. When they grown up, they went to found their own way and they made appointment that would meet at that house after 5 years. After 5 years, friend A became a good governer, because he always shared to his people. And fiend B became a monk, because he always thought about other people. And they found a snake at that house. Friend B told A that is C. And B made a apple tree. There were very many apples. And there was the biggest apple on the top of tree. B said if he chose the biggest one, he couldn't become human. But C went up the top of tree and ate the biggest one. After that, he lived whole life in snake.
